The vividly imagined world of this series adds to the enjoyment. The fights, the heartwarming moments, and the sizzling chemistry between the two leads makes this one a memorable read. And this couple has such good progress later on in the series. Let me tell you one thing, the world may seem a bit difficult to get into and this couple may seem too cliché at first but trust me, it gets so much better throughout the series! The romance is a very significant part of it. If I could, then I would shout from the rooftops about how much I love this series! (but I’ve got a fear of heights so that’s not possible i guess😂) From there on the web of lies and betrayal begins while Marcus and Terianna cross the seas, but on the other hand, both of them are giving in to this unexpected attraction that might prove dangerous for both of them.
For that, she might have to cross the endless seas and take the legion led by The Thirty-seventh legatus, Marcus to the west shores and break the mandate. She now has to make a decision in order to protect her crew and her people. When the empire senator discovers the existence of Dark Shores Terianna’s ship is captured.

The one thing that’s more discouraging to me is not meeting a deadline or a goal I’ve set for myself so I’m not going to put undo pressure on myself. If I barely reach my goals? Well, at least I made it. If I get through my list and find something new? Great. That means, no lofty deadlines, no TBR list that reaches multiple digits, and only bit off what I can chew. My motto for the first of the year is to not set myself up for failure as I’ve historically done. Can’t wait to dig into this and I hope it’s a little more attention capturing than Bite Me. I mean, a feisty self-professed weird who enjoys a mini box of wine? Sounds like a fun read to me. I think what captured my attention about this book first was the cover.
